Directories Exploiting PR Uncertainity <_<

    They were free yesterday.

From today morning ( IST ) they turned to paid ones. I guess they are exploiting the PR uncertainity and asking money for submissions.

That seems a little goofy

I mean, if they are trying to exploit the current hysteria about "PR disappearing", why would anyone want to bother submitting to those directories, let alone PAYING for a submission.

I think they need to go back and re-read that SEO 101 book

If they are only charging $.39 for a submission I think it's okay.
But I agree that it's an odd way to exploit the PR uncertainty...

No, the 39 cents is for Tuning's directory submission service, not the fee for the directories themselves...

I think there will be people who don't have records of thier existing PR. Hence thinking they are good ones might pay.

don't know what is in owners' mind.

Yep, $0.39 is my service rate for submissions. They are charging $7 for old PR4 and $5 for PR3.

A lot of free directories change over to paid submission when they have attracted however many entries they are after, but your right, their timing is certainly interesting.

Yep, its my business. This service is for those whose time is more valueable than directory submissions. I mean they can outsource thier sites directory submission to me.

    Hope that helps.

There are enough lists of directories that show the last known PR, that it's easy enough to check.

Plus, doing a back link search will give a good idea as well.
