Directories are doing well - the latest directory PR stats

    I don't have any immediate plans to add any new stats. I have to look into why the Yahoo links are no longer showing. If there is something you would like to see please let me know.

    Directories have been having trouble with hosts and directory scripts. The hosts will sell you enough bandwidth and disk space but cut you off without warning for using too much "resources" . See my host from hell blog post for my rant on the subject.

    I usually try to run scripts at night. The site is getting about 1000 visitors a day and with the 10,000 links I might have to look at a non-shared hosting solution.

    A directory is a directory and this one is just that, you can't discount it because it doesn't accept what we might call regular sites?

    Good comparison, what did you base this on? an existing list?

    True, but every country in the world has 1 or many sites that are really only a phone book of government services.

    The stats are based on the PHPLD database for web-directories.ws.
