Directories and page rank

    i have submitting my website to several free directories to try and increase my page rank and i was wondering if anyone knew of any GOOD directories that could help me with this process?

    Your best bet is paid directories or featured listings in quality free directories. If you go for regular listings in free directories chances are you will end up on a PR0 page.

    Also remember, PR is not all that important. Good SERP and traffic will make your site much more successful.

    JR123 is right, free directory just give you backlinks and SERP strength if you use right keywords while submissions, for better PR you should choose best and highly promoted paid directories.such as alive directory or Elegant directory

    If a directory is free or paid is irrelevant

    You need to look at is the weight of the page your submission will end up on and if the page has been cached by Google.
