I'm wondering if directories support sub folders, like www.somesite/somefolder/

or should I submit only top level links?

where do I get list of directories which allow subfolders?

    Thanks!

You can get tons of "deep" links to your inner pages by adding links to them on your free account at such social bookmarking websites as squidoo.com, bibsonomy.org, and diigo.com. I have Google (Webmaster Tools) showing me links from these and other social bookmarking sites to my inner pages.

Its best to get deep links from related sites. 1 way, link exchange, or paid reviews.

That is an excellent point Jim. Social bookmarking is great for building links to inner pages.

    @ sandrodz

I just added a free deep link web directory to my free directory list (see sig) today. The url for that directory is:

    http://www.directorydeep.com

But as others have noted, most free directories do not permit deep links.

Most directories don't support deep linking, but you just have to read the rules for each individual directory.... as said above, many of the paid ones allow you to have like 3-5 deep links...

    correct..

there are some directories in directory critic which allow deep linking..

one piece of advice.. quality is better than quantity..

deep linking in social bookmarking sites is not a good strategy..

Well I don't agree with you. Social bookmarking sites may not give you PR boost but they do contribute to direct traffic. It's best if your readers bookmark your site :)
