My question is related to Directories relationship and Google Top 10 Search Results. If my website is submit and approved in different 300 directories then can my website on Top 10 in Google search or Yahoo search engine. OR Require more work to bring my website in Top 10 using directories submission. Waiting for experts answers.
If your site didnt on the top, then you need to do more work. If it did on the top, you also need to do more work to keep it. Hope will help, and Merry Christmas.
Being listed in Top 10 pages in Google have nothing to do with total amount of directories links you have but everything to do with where your keywords placing your site in SERP. For example if your keywords 555aaa555 directory and all you have is only 1 backlink, I can promise you your site will be #1 in Google SERP, but if you want to be ranked for best web directory... well, lets just say 3,000 backlinks won't be enough. fastreplies
umairraja52 directory submission is one but not the only solution to get good ranking.. The ranking of any keyword depends on factors like 1.How stiff is the competition ? 2.How is your content quality ? 3.On page and Off page optimization Simply linking with directory will not rocket your ranking ...I depends on directory PR and contexual linking as well... You can deep link on long tail keywords...
You should first need to do basic on-page SEO on your site such as adding high quality contents with proper titles and keyowrds on the contents. And then think of ranking high on Google - by getting related links from directories, blogs and all other sources that are available.
Competition is a big factor in placing in the top 10 google search results. Obviously, trying to rank for highly-competitive keywords like super bowl, shop online, etc.., is going to take a lot more work than simple directory submissions (even if total is > 300). But if you're functioning in a niche market, submitting to the right directories can mean real results in a matter of a few days.
Too many submission in too less time will also damange rankings... Google detects something is fishy in domain if thats the case... My exp that has wrked till yet is 25 in a week..
Your google position is not related to only the number of directories you submitted your website. - Domain name of your website (your keyword is bread and your domain is www.bread.com so you are #1) - The content of your homepage and inner pages. - Quality backlinks (directories, blogs, social bookmarking websites, friends' websites,...) with high PR. - Your content location (your page encoding) - Your website's title - Your website's description - Your website's html tags (web 2.0 would be good, use divs instead of tables, use h1, h2 tags) - Your related inner links with your prefered keyword And this list goes on like this. As you see, the directories are only a small part of your google position and if you need web directories to submit your website, check my sig. Good luck.
