Directing the visitor directly to payment page

    Hi

Universally it is known that none of the clickbank ebooks' sales pages are worth a second look. So, what I was thinking is have my own domain name with my own sales letter, and when an interested user clicks, take him directly to the payment page..

Is it possible to do this. If so, where do I mention my clickbank ID.?

Cookies are added from the main page ( landing page ) ! From what I know, it's not possible ( possible, but you will not get any commissions ).

From what I gathered elsewhere from the net, this one works:

    http:/clickbank.net/sell.cgi?MyClickbankID_PublisherID/Product_Number/Product_Name

I still have to find a way out for the tracking id. But are you guys also sure that this is not against the Terms and Conditions?

You can insert your tracking codes to your payment page to record cookies. It converts better than others.

Really cause that must mean I am on a different universe because I've seen a ton of awesome sales pages for clickbank ebooks.

In fact if your statement were true why do some publishers pay thousands for copyrighting for their sales pages?

    Lol my thoughts exactly.

Either way, it will be interesting to see the super sales letters XooX comes up with.

Some sales pages are utterly dire. Some make some unbelievable mistakes.. my favourites are ones which use marketing jargon in the actual letter, probably because they they take what they've been told in marketing courses too literally.

    "Take action now!"
"I'm calling you to action now!" - most marketing material teaches that you have to "call your customer to action" to ensure the sale closes. That doesn't literally mean you should write that!

"Read the rest of this sales letter" - people don't like to be sold to! The marketing term is a "sales letter", but to a reader, it's just a "letter".

Any use of the term "OTO" or "upsell", anywhere in any sales material. It's alright if you're pitching to the internet marketing crowd who recognise this term, but to sell a golfing product with a "OTO" or "upsell" is just silly. It should be a "time limited special offer", or a "platinum level upgrade".

    /rant :)

don't quote me on this, but you may want to ok it with the publisher first, as i'm sure i've read in places of publishers sometimes blocking affiliates that are bypassing the sales page without their prior knowledge, as it means they miss out on any disclaimers etc

again, it may just be an urban legend, but worth considering

I never understand why some people put a copyscape image on their site? Joe surfer ain't gonna have a clue what it means and it can only break his train of thought and lose sales!

I have found in 2 different places that this does not override the cookie, so you will lose sales.

Hey, could you list them here...I couldn't find them. Besides when I tried, it did show my affiliate id at the bottom of the Clickbank payment page, which means I am being recognized as the referrer...

you should contact the product owner and ask for a direct link to their order page...

I tried this a few times and most of the time they give me a review product on top of the direct link :)
