    directadmin for me... because of its simplicity,,, but it dont have fantastico like cpanel

    cPanel definitely has the hottest features, and the nice designs.

    cPanel is all around, better, and there is a lot more with cPanel

    I've had too many problems with hackers getting into my cPanel.. I prefer to stick with nothing but FTP.

    CashinX, just make sure that the cPanel is up to date, and you use a complex password.

    If you do that, you won't get 'hacked'.

    Definitely agree, it has a much better interface and options which makes it that bit better.

    if your on shared hosting cpanel is the best out there but when you managed your own server better go for direct admin...

    Had everything up to date (This was about 2 years ago). My site was hacked, and I notified my host.
    He told me I was full of sh*t and it was my fault - some of the content I had was expoitable. The hacker actually laughed and provided me with my HOSTS CPANEL INFORMATION.
    Just scared the sht out of me...

    I've used both and find that CPanel is the best. Easier to use and lots more features like AwStats.

    Thank you guys for all the reviews about DirectAdmin and cPanel.
    I can't decide now which control panel to get for my hosting company. I like DirectAdmin better and it's easy to use and other people don't like it. So no I'm really confused which hosting control panel to get.
