    Hi,
I have a squeeze page and a sales page.I have opt-ins on both pages.

While promoting clickbank products, which is the better thing to do? Should I direct my visitors to the squeeze page or to my sales page?

I know I should test it out, Am just hoping to get a feedback from the more successfull marketers out here.

    Thank You All.

I have the same dilemma right now, but since the majority of my traffic is organic, I can't control where it's going.
So far I received more opt-ins on my squeeze page (which is not really a squeeze page...).
You got the right answer - test. And test again.

Here's 1 way to look at it..

If you can't convince them to give up their email, you probably aren't going to get them to give up their credit card digits.

For a more long term business, I would venture to say "squeeze page". In time you will probably get the action takers to make you several commissions. Don't let the action takers go without getting their info

    good new perspective floodrod.

But My problem is that I'm afraid my conversion rate will go down significantly because of my squeeze or drop down. Plus I don't know which of my markets I should use an opt-in with and the ones I shouldn't.

    Any ideas?

Yeah, While using PPC am also scared of my CTR going down if I direct the visitors to just an opt-in page instead of a optimized sales page.

I also go through this internal debate that, If am searching for something desperate, I would mostly "want it now", instead of having to fill in my contact details and then having to judge if the product would work for me.

    ughhhhhhh. Bloody Doubts!!

The essence of opt-in is to collect the names and emails of potential customers. Actually it is better to put the opt-in form on a squeeze page rather than on a sale page. The sale's page is often very short and contain the benefits of the product to be sold.Even if a potential customer is not interested in that particular product, he/she might decided to give out his/her email with the hope that you can contact her/him in the future with any other of your poroducts. So the squeeze page should contain substantai information that will entice anyone to buy from you and the content should be very short. Therefore opt-in form is better with it rather than sale's page.

Squeeze page!! Don't even consider sending them to your sales page first. As floodrod said if they aren't willing to give up their email they won't be willing to give you their CC # either. You won't lower your conversion rate, the other way around, it'll go up, because only the people that are interested will get through...

You do know that the average person needs to be exposed to a product at least 7 times before buying?

That's what you do in the emails... and if the only option for them to opt in is on a sales page you will have faaar less people opting in, because there's simply too many distractions.

I'd suggest having a sqeeze page with a fair amount of content, to kind of pre-sell them and at the same time getting more friendly with Google, content is essential if you're doing PPC.

    Squeeze 'em mate.
