First off, sweet forum! Really glad I found it. I happen to own one myself (the biggest for a certain American sports team), and we're monetizing it for the first time. I just got a list of the terms for an ad deal a colleague of mine is closing for me/a number of affiliated sites. He shot me the "basics" of the deal today. Frankly I feel stupid. I thought I was familiar with internet advertising, but I can't comprehend it to save my life. Even scouring the internet I just can't put my finger on what exactly it means. So here are few questions if anyone wants to help out. I know what CPM is. What's the difference between direct and indirect CPM? What would the approximate market rate for indirect CPM be? What is ROW Net CPM? Plus, does anyone have any idea what a "doc" advertising inventory would be? I understand the other two. I've searched for the answers to these questions all over, btw. I feel like I'm missing something. Thanks for any help you can give me. I really appreciate it.
