direct traffic is high suddently recently. by google analytics, it come from different city. bounce rate is from 33% to 81%. why? how to track what happen? i found bounce rate is normal when traffic from keyword.
I get high direct traffic once in a while from new search engines. The ones that show a visual of your page tend to use a bot that runs the javascript on your page and as a result trigger your analytics code. The bounce rate from that traffic is 100%. You can usually track it down by looking at their "Network Location" in analytics.
Direct traffic could be anything from your site going viral , return visitors from bookmarks or a tracking problem ? Not sure how you would find out though
