Is there a way to get a direct link to your paypal account? For example, if someone wants to donate and says, “send me the paypal link,” is that possible?

 

Sure you can send your paypal link but must be you create a "Buy Button" and then get link.

 

You can get a donate button and paypal link from Paypal itself. For this I think you may have to change your account from personal to business. But be careful because the charges and fees may be hidden and high. Make a clear idea before you do this. Because after upgrading and changing accounts it is headache to make it normal.

 

If you do get a donate button, you can only put that on a webpage but can't send it to them because it's in HTML.

 

When you create a button you get 2 pieces of code. One for adding the button on the website (HTML code) and a plain link to send via email.

 

I guess donate button will be more effective/ than a link

 

Yeh u can make use of donation buttion.
Go to teh profile section or urs and their you wil find donate button.

Copy the code and use it on ur website/blog etc.

 

Paypal offers some tools for this kind of things.

Just copy the html code of the Donate Button and paste it in your website

 

When you are generating a button at the end you will have a option saying email link just use that
