Direct linking...

    Hi,
    Is direct linking from adwords still ok by google?

    What happens when i create a google campaign to a CB product that is already promoted by an affiliate on google?

    I have a few questions:

    Will my ad appear if my bid is higher or for a keyword with no bids?, although another affiliate already have a longer history on adwords with this product.

    Can this hurt my quality rate for this campaign? short or long run?

    Direct linking is BS and it was working back in 2003-2004. Now you need a landing page to advertise properly with Adwords. Period.

    I agree with bl4ckmaN^, landing page is needed to presell. Plus if you're doing PPC, then a landing is a must.

    Forget about direct linking unless the product does not have any affiliate vying with you, ie you are the only one promoting using Google Adwords.
