I talk with Axis Bnak, they are teling they have 15 digit no. only,so is it nt posible to do variation of dis 15 digit no. to 12 digit no, by speaking to particular branch
Do remove the first 3 digits (if your a/c no has 15 digits) and try. CB has considered the request. I need to get further confirmation.
Well, I duno abt other banks, but SBI does have ONLY 11 digit ac No, when I last checked Another interesting thing is, that it took (one of my friend) about half an hour to open a new ac with them, so provided all your docs are ready, you can try SBI ac, it surely have 11 digits ac nos Keep us updated as when u get ur check. All the best !
Till now I didn't notice any direct deposit in bank account. I'll inform the members when it happens.
No Direct Deposit till date. As they have mentioned that for Canada it will take 2-3 days. So the Asian countries might take less not less than 7 days.
Actually, I think you should receive DD on the same day it is sent. In case you mixed it up, DD is not the same as Wire. Wire takes a few days, while DD takes a few hours. Direct deposit for India means that Clickbank has a bank account in India, and they send all the Direct deposit money for the affiliates that need to receive DD in India to that account . So the DD payment funds you receive should be sent to you from a local bank account in India which CB owns, because CB has a bank account in an Indian bank from which it pays out the DD. Thus, local transactions should only take a few hours to process.
ClickBank's bank is Wells Fargo which has an international money transfer facility with ICICI Bank. I'm from India (not yet eligible for DD) and keen to know how this thing works out for fellow Indians.
For the Period ending 24 th Dec , they have sent the DD on 7th Jan which I received it on 13 Jan. It was 1206 and i got around Rs 57000. They do international transfers directly from Wells Fargo bank and the 47 rs for a dollar is their forex rate. So It takes 6 days for the DD to receive it in India. I used a savings account from State bank of india and it is a 12 digit account number.
Can you give me a snapshot of what details you're required to fill up on CB's Account Settings page to get your Direct Deposit? I know there's Bank A/C no and IFSC code... Is there anything else? I'll be eligible for DD in a few weeks time so I want to be ready with any extra details that need to be entered. Thanks.
It is inform you that please do avoid Axis Bank accounts. My Direct Deposit got failed citing the reason invalid payment information. I think there is a problem with Axis Bank A/cs. As I informed you earlier, I've removed the first 3 digits of the 15 digit a/c number. By the way, it would work with SBI as it has only 11 digits. Any experiences with other banks in India?
I think by this time, you would have know the result. Don't forget to check your email associated with CB account.
Can anyone from India confirm if I should select Checking Account or Savings Account option for Direct Deposit? I've got a regular Indian savings a/c, but is that what they call a checking a/c in the US? Any clarity on this would be appreciated. Thanks.
Select it as Savings Account. I'm not an expert in this niche, but I'm of the opinion that Checking Account means Current Account.
Still no clarity about which bank works for direct deposit ? ,is here anybody got payment through direct deposit. If anybody please let me know.
When you withdraw from PayPal to your savings bank account it shows 'Checking' account by default on the withdrawal page. ClickBank also has the IFSC code / Account number options similar to Paypal, so I'm guessing ClickBank also uses NEFT. So far, only gcashhome has received his DD successfully. Hope he can throw more light on this.
Another Payment Update guys For the period ending 31 dec , DD was sent on 14 jan(which is 15 jan for us in India) and it got credited in my account on Jan 16. Pretty fast than expected. For guys who cant get it right yet, I used a Savings bank account with SBI. It is pretty straight guys. Add your bank account and the proper IFSC code. I am sure $$$ will be on your way. Any bank account number upto 12 digits will be accepted but of course it should also have an IFSC code. (Note that not all banks may have an IFSC code enabled) Any more questions guys ?
On the DD options page, did you change your Account Type to 'Savings A/C' or left it at the default 'Checking A/C'? I'll appreciate it if you could confirm this one thing.
