    Hi guys, question...

let's say, my main keyword for which I want to rank is "luxury travel", for example.

and I want to diversify the links, but stay on the same keyword, so i use anchors ""luxury travel ____something", where ___ is some other word that doesn't have searches, just a diversification element.

Does it still contribute to my ranking for this keyword, or it's only if the phrase "luxury travel ____something" is searched as it is?

Yes it will still contribute a little to your keyword because your words are still in the link text.
