Digixmas or SubmitEaze???

    I have paid for several different directory submission services. However, I am often left without knowing which directories actually contain my sites and which ones I should focus on more.

    I have been looking into directory submission tools to help me with semi-automated directory submissions that automatically fill in form fields for me and let me select the category (if my pre-filled categories don't match) and give me the captchas.

    I've boiled down my search to two tools that I like the best:
    * Digixmas
    and
    * SubmitEaze

    For what I want to do, I'll end up paying for one or the other (and I have several websites I want to use with them).

    All in all, I'm wondering what people prefer between the two.

    Thanks!

    Hi, Arbonboy.
    Even in FREE mode, our tool works almost same, but faster than SubmitEaze (Of course, SubmitEaze has some advanced features that our tool doesn't have, but I think they aren't necessary for common users.) You can have your own directory list in free mode also.
    My suggestion is: Try our tool in free mode. If you don't want go for paid mode, it's OK, you can live with our tool in free mode without purchase another tool :) .
    Regards.

    I appreciate your suggestions. I have used both tools in free mode and like different things about each one. Both definitely beat the manual submission hands down, but it they are not fully automatic either, which I like - it lets me have the "manual" touch too.

    Can you describe how you use this to submit to directories?
    And a link to the page? Is this the FF extension of that name, or something else?

    Yes, you can have your own directory list. Take a look into User's Manual for instructions how to create your own directory list (very simple format: text file with urls and pagrank).

    Since you're in the thread...is there any chance of a remotely hosted version or-best of all-a version that works on Mac? I really want to try Digixmas, but the files are windows. Just a thought.

    SubmitEaze has many advanced features which can make submissions much quicker and easier. Oh, and here's a bit of insider info: prices will be going up in a couple of weeks so buy now to avoid paying an increased price in a few weeks, and you have two license options so you decide what features you want to pay for :D

    All of the features that are added are requested by our users, so yes, they are used by the common person doing directory submissions.

    We're always looking for ideas so if you can think of anything that we can improve just drop me a PM - seriously, if you have any thoughts or ideas let me know.

    Hi,
    1. Create your own directory list by Notepad in following format:

    # This is comment (Lines that start with ‘#’ character)

    # First line gives the name of directory list
    # that will be shown on main window title, if selected.

    DirListName= My Directory List

    # Next lines will list the directories’s url with PR, separated by comma ‘,’.
    # The URL has to start with http://, # otherwise will be ignored.
    # And don't forget 'www.', if it's a part of URL.

    http://www.dmoz.com,9
    http://www.example.com,0

    Code (markup):
    2. Save to text file.
    3. Then open it by choosing File->Open directory list and select your file.

    That's all. It's easy, right :) ?

    I'm back baby!!! I have a big announcement on the way and I'll be back tomorrow with more info - I wish I could say now, but a great showman always leaves the audience wanting more. Plus the fact there's a bit more work to do before we start announcing things lol
