Digitalpoint slow and buggy now?

    Hey all,

Just been browsing the site and posting recently, and is it just me or the whole site has been noticeably slow and buggy, like PMs getting stuck in Unread state, and when deleted the next PM in line is turned to unread.?

    Thought it was quite odd.

It's just database problems and people should not start threads about it daily :)
Just suffer the problem if you want to stay on dp ..
    Thanks

Any problem demands a solution. And people start threads because they are concerned. You are saying as if database problems are an important part of DP. Its a problem that can be repaired with the help of proper experts and professional and its only when people voice their concern will DP admins do anything about it. Infact Dp is such a big forum - problems like these shd be immediately sorted out. This will only help the forum ensure a strong and safe future.

Never seen one of your 1,974 post but needless to say this may have been your most rhetorical post, if the PEOPLE of the forum want to voice a concern that needs to be fixed and has been happening for a while what else to do but start a thread about it and try to get the problem fixed because it is pretty frustrating enough indeed to make people find new sites to participate in.

People are for sure concerned but creating threads about it daily will not solve this problem at all. Everyone on this forum want to get this database issue solved (including me) but you should workout and give solutions for this and not only criticize IF YOU ARE REALLY CONCERNED. Starting loads of threads about database issue will not solve the problem but it can increase the load for sure.
DP is such a big forum and you should get habitual of these problems too and hope it will sort out immediately.
    Thanks

I am also getting problems.. New Threads are not appearing instantly.. I think databases are slowing down due to lots of threads.. I think what about deleting very old and no value threads from DP databases.. this might solve the slow dp problem.. :)
