I guess this is DP's one of coolest in-house modification, but is there any way to get that as a product? Shawn?

That's okay.. But, mmmm.. you know, might be for premium members!!?? Or, as a paid product?
Please don't mind me suggesting those.

Why?? Don't you like to get free things? :)
Well, I'll do that if Shawn say absolutely no to my strong desire for that.

Well, it's not really something that's "simple"... a normal vBulletin installation would slow down quite a bit because it would need to load the entire jQuery framework/library which vBulletin doesn't do normally. I happen to use jQuery for all sorts of other things on the site, so it's always loaded. Adding a 100k overhead to a site that doesn't otherwise use jQuery probably isn't really worth it to be honest.

    Okay.. Fine then :)
On a second though, there are some mods in vb.org uses additional js files to function. I guess people won't mind using that little extra load for a feature like this. At least, I won't.

It's obvious that Shawn ain't going to give you the source code even if you paid him, that's why I suggested you to hire someone, because if the modification was available to vBulletin license holders, he would've pointed you to the correct page.
