The people paid for the software, and when they pay for the software they pay for the support as well (included in price).

It's same like the guy bought something and the owner didn't supply the product.

Would you like if you would buy a computer and they wouldn't send you the monitor? :D

Same is here. We all understand Shawn is busy, but he must take measures regarding these issues. I have heard that DigitalPoint solutions lack of support, it's not the only case.

I am absolutely certain we are hearing one side of the story here. Another thing I am certain about is that Shawn has responded to the OP by now and has dealt with whatever situation arose at that time. Let us not forget how professional Shawn has handled all situations here at DP.

I wish I could say I had a hernia from lifting $100,000 in new servers because my business is growing...

Looking for a success hernia.... found a underfunded, growing, hemeroid.

It's funny. I've called them once in the last four years, about 2 months ago. Got an answer the first time I called. It was Shawn, not Hogan, but the other one.

Got what I needed, took less than 5 minutes. Guess I just got lucky?

if someone paid for software, being busy is not an excuse for not providing support. :p imagine if all companies said that.

All I want to know is how to keep OG from crashing... It's crashed 4 times today, and about 20 last week... It's getting pretty annoying, and is pissing off customers.

Anyone using it have any thoughts as to why it crashes so much? I've narrowed it down to a problem between the db server and web server. I think some type of sever actions on the web server causes the DB server to tank... What that is, I have no idea? FM's logs are useless..

We paid $11700 in optigold licenses.

However there is no way to reach support. From that point its laywer's problem now. But beware guys, DP does not care anymore, but have to admin 2-3 years ago they did provide support.

Should it be closed because alot of ISP's have got burnt using OptigoldISP and have spent many thousands of dollars on a product that now has no support, no updates and no future? Is that why we should close this thread? Maybe 3 years ago he would answer support calls for the product he sold. Why do that? We all gave him the capital to do what he does now.

He doesn't care about Optigold anymore...

I think everyone should know that..

    Optigold is a DEAD PRODUCT.

Now you can close this thread.
