So if someone points a link to your DP profile and says that you are a scammer, we should ban you too?

We try not to get involved in personal disputes.

If someone scammed you, then step away from the computer for a few minutes and take the appropriate legal action. Digitalpoint.com is not a court room, nor are we personal dispute moderators.

im not telling that you are a court room or you are personal dispute mod
the thing is that he has scammed us here at dp and its ur responsibility to take action ok......dont run from your duties

yeh exactely some1 lost 500$ then also thread is going on very nicely and one of the guy here still arguing me that its not his duty.....i dont wana fight but every1 has right to say what he feels and i feel that mods are useless when they will loss 500$ or even 50$ then they will feel that why we are getting angry

That's me. I've lost $500 to him and am disapointed with paypal's action as well. It is so easy for someone to open up a paypal account today, sell ebay.com (pretend that is yours) and then get someone to transfer a large some of money and walk away. Paypal won't do anything because it is virtual.

I should have stepped back and thought about it before I transferred the money but I was just curious since I am already involved in legal practice and wanted to know how all this works. Making policy changes is part of where I come from. This will be a good example.

We will see what has to happen next. This thread is good to at least find out who else has lost money to this user through the same paypal account, then we can decide what to do next.

Calm down. What she's telling you is that DP doesn't handle personal disputes. You use the BST at your own risk. You agreed to these terms when registering to become a member here.

And did you leave itrader to warn other members? That is the proper way to alert members to problems.

It is not my responsibilty to hold your hand through transactions you choose to do on the internet. You should take responsibilty for your own actions. Why didn't you use a broker service? Why havn't you left a negative i-trader for the transaction that you were apparently "scammed" from?

That's fine. So you think mods are useless because you allowed yourself to get scammed. I understand your angry, but you are angry at the wrong people. If you got scammed, there are two people to blame. The person that took your money and yourself. Take the appropriate action and go get your money back. Stop wasting your time crying about how horrible the mods are

I am not sure this thread is turning away from the point that this individual has actually took money from some members and is refusing to pay it back or deliver the product - to discussing if we did they right thing or not.

We all understand the rules and regulations of this board. It is just hard to accept the fact that nothing can be done for someone who takes $500 away from you within a minute and walks away - not at Paypal and not at DP.

We understand DP can't do anything but I think DP should protect others who may fall as victims to the same individual.

That's all I am trying to say here. Please don't make this an issue among the members here. I take this thread as a benefit for many others who may lose money here or on other forums. Just do a google search with that individual's username and you know where he/she lives.
