Any popular place is occupied by good mannered personalities and infested with bad persons. It is our duty to sieve through the populace to find out the right person. You can be cheated only once. That shows the cleverness of the cheat whereas when the second time you are cheated, that shows your poor capacity to learn from your previous errors. You be the judge for your destiny. Tread carefully. Good luck :)

"You must have been a member for 14 days, not have an overall red reputation and have 25 total posts to post in the Buy, Sell or Trade forum (which includes link exchanges) or the Politics & Religion forum.
It can take up to an hour for your new permissions to be active."

Right out of the rules... You can check them out in the FAQ on the top of the forums.

What im trying to suggest to DP is that they need to give consequences to those people that are only here to scam people. Why do we allow them to scam someone and return to the forums to scam others without banning them or blocking their IP address. Every other forum punishes those that steal expect here.

There are consequences. Have you left an iTrader? You've certainly publicised them here so the next person will know.

I have been working with a writer on DP and had great success, but I do not purchase the 50 million e-books everyone is selling "make $2,000 in 5 minutes - I'll show you how" because I have enough common sense to know its crap

its not happening only on DP.Odds are everywhere you go.In my point of view if you don't betray others no one can betray you cuz if you are nice to every1 then everyone will be nice to you.Its rule of nature and i examined it many times.I am not saying that you r not nice person but sometimes it happens by nature in your own good, may be one day you'll get know that whatever happened was in your favour.if someone get hurt because of my this statement then i m sorry.i didn't intended to hurt anyone.I am just sharing my experience with you guys.

Believe me for lemons there is no place on Internet.
If you cant use your mind and take little time to check how many iTrades the person have ... If you cant use your mind or take out little time to check the past post history of the person you dealing with ... Then you are meant to be get ripped and scammed ... :)
Use Mind, Check Member History and then only throw the payments.

Its awfully inappropriate to generalize like that...i have had all positive experiences here on dp and I've made quite a bit of money and dealt with many people. A few were better then others but overall I always received my money and worked out any problems easily...You must exercise judgement and caution when selecting someone to deal with...low itrader immediate red flag, low post count...somewhat low itrader another red flag...then look at how they post and what they say...it all says volumes about the kind of person they are.

    Dunno...maybe i've just been lucky.

    good luck to you.

For a high value trade I would ask for a check to be sent to me

Check the itrader and investigate the deal

You can´t put everyone in the same bag...

What happened to me (in relation with Morgan) was just a confusion and:
    • I didn´t scammed anyone
    • I just had to sell to another buyer because the other guy post SOLD on the thread (but i admit that it was my fault because i forgot to close the thread after receiving and acepting the Morgan´s offer)
    • I offered to pay him $30 for NOTHING!!! (the difference between the $90 he offered and the $120 i took from the buyer)
    • I didn´t took money from him

Morgan...I really guess you have to retract yourself for talking about me in the same thread in which you were talking about a man who SCAMMED you: two situations are NOT the same (absolutely NOT!).

Sorry AGAIN if i made you loose your time (again and again: it was just a confusion and not bad faith by my part) and i don´t know what else i can do.

    Alexis.
