I see most of translations of Koran in Islamic sites done by four guys "Qarib" , "Shakir" , "Pickthall" and Yusufali". don't want to tell their translation is exactly same as Koran but guess concepts is so close.
but anyway if you can translate it in better way, I will appreciate.

My oh my, how angry you are. Why would Helvetti, or anyone else, for that matter, care whether or not you respect or disrespect Jesus? She isn't Christian, but even if she was, who cares? Do you respect George W. Bush? Should I, as an American, get angry and talk about you having sex with farm animals because you disrespect the former leader of my country? If you want to know the real difference between Christians and Muslims, it is clearly demonstrated by your post. Christians put up with assh*les like me describing Jesus as a pimp and Mary as a adultress on a daily basis. Most of the time, my comments are completely ignored. They go on their merry way dismissing my comments as "ill informed" or "ignorant". Perhaps they think I am going to hell. In general, they hold the value that they are entitled to their beliefs and I am entitled to mine, even if we completely disagree on most things spiritual. You and many other Muslims, on the other hand, consider insults to, or even drawings of your "prophet", as valid motive for taking direct and personal offensive action against the person/entity(Comedy Central? Sweedish Cartoonist? Helvetti?) making the comments. Helvetti didn't insult you. She promoted doing something contrary to your beliefs(drawing Mohammad). Can you imagine Jews responding to her in the way you did if she promoted "Eat Pork Day"? How about Christians, if she promoted "Hug a Homo" day? Do you think they would have responded by describing in detail her mother having sex with a diseased dog? Agreed every religion has crazies but no religion (maybe satanism) endorses any form of violence, did Jesus or Bible (I'm an atheist and I was NOT raised as a Christian) endorse/promote what KKK do? Or any other religion?

But in Islam, the Koran openly promotes violence and speaks of how the judgement day will come when Muslims kill the jews (or whoever is not a true muslim).

 

I cannot disagree with that. It shows what a hypocritical world we live in. Everything is about covering your ass, being politically correct etc. If someone published an article containing scripture from the Quaran in the New York Times, mass boycott would occur because of anti semitism implied. Yet since Islam is a religion you cannot say too much about them either.

It's sort of a double negative equalling ANYTHING BUT a positive.

Just to add...In Most religions its a problem with a very very small %age of followers...but in our favorite religion theres a serious problem with the religion, their prophet/god/messenger/whatever and quite a few followers.

Ask yourselves if this world would be a better place without Islam.
