digitalpoint forum is using phpbb??

    hi everyone

    I was having plan of making a forum website and was just wondering digitalpoint forum is using which web application for this? I know phpbb and have worked on it. but this seems to me different. Does anyone know??:confused:

    Thanks for telling other options. PHPBB is alredy what i was having plan to make in but just was wondering some other might be better options then PHPBB but free too:D

    DP is running on VB, although phpBB is also quite good.There are also various skins that you get for phpBB which make it mimic vbulletin kinda.

    i think if you decide not to go for VB, then phpBB is the second best and a lot of forums are based off on it too.

    Lots of forum scripts out there. I have never been a fan of phpbb that much, but for free it's ok and what the heck for smaller sites. I do prefer vbulletin, but it's obviously not free. I think it's easier to maintain, administer and moderate. It is a decent forum script, but it's just not within some sites budget. Smf used to be popular and free, but I haven't used it in quite a while now.
