    Hi All :)
I was wondering if there is anyway (apart from paid subscription) to be allowed posting permissions in the privileged sections - Buy/Sell sections for new members?

arnt newbies supposed to receive help at joining , settle down and beyond a time frame , expected to deliver good content? it seems to me that the process here is just the opposite ? I was going through some thread here a couple of days back which said about the remarkable dip in alexa ranking of late. Is anybody new here around here actually able to make use of the buy/sell section ?

Is this forum as on date only a closed group ? I would appreciate 1-2 senior members reply on this, preferably a moderator's reply. :)

Not a closed group, a more trusted membership. If you add no value to the forum, don't expect to get anything in return. It really is that simple.

It's not anymore a closed group than it was before (you would not have had permissions to post there under the old guidelines either).

In fact, you could argue it's less closed now, because before even premium membership couldn't get you premature access.

You could actually make some effort yourself and read the many posts on the three likes system in the Support & Feedback section and you'll get a balance of views.

IMO, if you make effort, it's very easy to get the required likes. Whether that is through crying like a baby or actually helping people. Crying like a baby might just leave a negative memory of you for some people though and become a name to avoid in BST. At least I have a large list of DNDW [Do Not Deal With] people. If they can't be bothered to put effort into three likes, it leaves a question mark of whether they will be reliable to do business with.
