DigitalPoint - Does it have a meaning behind the name?

    What does "Digital Point" mean, exactly? I know what "Digital" means, but what is the "Point" for?

    In Retail, a "price point" is: The retail price of a product, usually when viewed as one of a series of possible competitive prices: expected to release the software below the $50 price point.

    'Digital Point' may have a similar type of connotation.
