I saw that earlier today. Thought it was a partnership.

Might want to send a cease and desist just for the reason.

I'd assumed that as well -- dp certainly needs to take action...

I even clicked the link assuming it was some kind of partnership so it certainly works from a marketing angle...

Geez guys, sorry, wasn't trying to do anything wrong here. I love DP and wanted to promote the fact: Use DP *and* dealasite to sell your website, both being free.

I pulled the ad and guess I need Shawn's approval now to use the DP logo. Sorry again.

I just sent him a message. I assumed promoting DP and using the logo in a good light was acceptable. I goofed, sorry again everyone.

I hate that site. The member constantly PMed me over at DN Forum when I listed sites for sale and placed my sites for sale on DN Forum onto his website, and gave me a link and login information there.

    >.<

Good effort for site promotion, but nevertheless it is spam and intolerable.

Well, you had a nice site for sale, and I had some interest in it myself. I PMed you instead of replying to your thread to avoid anything close to spamming.

A final note on the banner ad. I could have run ads at DP promoting dealasite exclusively and there would be no problem, but I didn't want to compete with the Buy/Sell forum here. I was honestly trying to be considerate and say, "hey use both of us".

I love this forum and don't want problems with anyone here. Check my past posts and you'll see I'm a good guy and have good intentions. My apologies to everyone again.

I have listed 2-3 sites of mine on dealasite.com but didnt get bids that could match my expectations.

Good luck with your site. :)

Those that can see it probably went to the site before and it's pulling up from their cache. That's why the ones who are looking at it for the first time can't see the DP logo in it.
