This is board is/was making google a lot of $$ I cannot see why they would just bann the adsense, at lot of people use this board to make $$ maybe people should donate some of that $$ to help with costs. I would.

So all this thread is doing is instigating a rumor or did i miss the proof. Just making sure, I use digital point as a business asset, its nothing more or less than that, the theory that DP got ban from google sounds like a bunch of bullshit. If it did get ban, wouldnt there be public service ads? Just throwing out a theory that might help.

edit: Guessing from the post above, some "webmaster forum" owners might be instigating that this is true. Thus hoping that someone would really join their forum.

The fact that no PSA ads are showing is a little suspicious to me.

I'm surprised it didn't get banned a long time ago, the amount of click fraud on this site must be large (due to revenue sharing) and Adsense is really cracking down....so

Hmm...if DP did get banned then it won't have a lot of financial income :S

We can't keep speculating lol we need a staff member to tell us really.

DP has considerably more financial income than AdSense alone, so don't worry about that.
Just reassuring to know that the moderators know as much as we do. It reinforces my faith in how DP operates.

It is fair to say that DP has been slowly going down hill for some time. If Shawn no longer has any interest in this forum, he would be wise to sell it as a going concern to someone who can; a) afford to buy such a massive site and b) someone who will get it back to the way it once was...

Only two people can answer for sure and that is the account holder and Google. Since the owner has not been in contact with the admins and mods no way for any of them to give that answer.

What I had noticed earlier was that Many of the ads are from webmasters who are member themselves and were site targetting DP.. So shawn could very very easily start selling private ads and make way more than he is currently making from adsense.. I mean all the Affiliate programs in the make money space would love love to sponsor many of the forums here...

But again, I doubt if DO would be banned. Individual accounts yes, but DP I doubt..

Well, if you go to this website and put this forum's URL in, you'll see the answer...

I must admit, I've not read the entire thread here - so someone may have thought of this before me.

(Oh, and the above site isn't mine. I just googled for how to find if a site is banned from Adsense and it came up with the above!)
