digitalpoint backlinks question

This is more a webmaster tools question so mods feel free to move to right forum.

When I review 'Links to your site' in WMT, I'm only seeing 7 links for the forums here. I know I've replied to more threads than that and I'm wondering why my results aren't higher?

Am I missing something?

In my experience, it takes time generally for backlinks to show up on webmaster tools and they're not updated everyday. I think I have ~50 showing there currently but obviously I've posted a lot more than that. Use something like this which usually gives you a better picture of your actual backlinks:

It really needs some time, and mostly not all of them will be counted

 

I do see some nofollow links. Why are some counted and others not.

 

It takes time to show all your backlinks. Remember though, the more quality threads you post, the better chance you have for better backlinks.

 

Where is the best most reputible place to buy backlinks from?

 

first of all which tool you are using for backlinks counting some times analytics uses minimum do follow links.

 

Never worry about the figure. Go on making backlinks every day anywhere. For the last complete year i have made search on the issue, and i have concluded there is not a single tool which will reflect your correct number of backlinks at any moment.

 

It seems to be updating as time goes on so I'll continue to build them here and elsewhere.
