I am thinking of starting a digital products store. Now I know there are thousands of these stores yet I am wondering if I would be able to succeed on a long term scale.. Short term I'm sure I could make a few sales here and there yet this is not what I am looking for haha please give me some ideas on how to market a site like this and if you think there is still room in this market oh and I would start one where I would sell products with generally resale rights
oh yea the products I would want to sell are ebooks, scripts, etc... all at very cheap prices instead of trying to get people to buy them at high prices..
Well, Currently right now I sell nothing but digital products. The ones with resell rights I never use just because it never works out for me. My way is bit pricey depending on what you do. But you can create your own software or even write up ebooks. Something unique is always good. There are many ways you can market digital products. But I have been doing this for 2 years now. I built up a great mailing list and also a good reputation. I do this full time while I am in college. There are plenty marketers out there making digital products a full time income just like I am. Thanks massivepunkers this does help although I dont have the time or will power to create my own products though lol.. But I'm glad there is still a market for it.. I do realize having a good mailing list is a very key factor thanks!
