what is DP's secret to getting ads to show?

I make a page with the word shag or shit or bitch and I get no ads...
at DP i have seen f#ck, c#nt, shagging, well anything you can think of really... even the thread about DMOZ child porn shows ads, and there's some pretty naughty words in there (believe me).

    so how is it done?

the site in question is rotflmao and one of the pages that doesn't work is this one I don't ever see ads there

    any help appreciated..

    James.

Maybe that page has way too many.

Anyway, I have seen the word "gun" stop ads more than a few times.

EDIT. I tried a profanity filled post LOL

I think DP Gets lots of CPM ads and those show regardless.

DP is loaded with trust rank, I suspect.

If I had to guess, I'd say Shawn is using section targeting? Maybe the ads are only reading the thread title and nothing below in the thread itself?

The ads you see are generally site-targetted ads.. so if it doesn't find something within the text, it will most likely show an ad from people targeting the site.

Context makes a difference when it comes to the stop word filter.

I think most of the ads shown on DP are CPM ads. Coz most of the times I see those same 6-7 ads.

    Thanks for clarifying that Shawn.
I will just go remove/change some words and see if I can figure out what are the 'naughties'. Perhaps I will never have a better opportunity to find out.

I am seeing two blocks full of ads on your site. They show up for me.
