Hello DP Members,

I was led here by a link on another affiliate forum and thought it would be a great idea to join the forum.

I have recently launched ThrillaMilla.com to educate and inform those interested in Affiliate Marketing how to start an online affiliate program. The site has only been up for a short time and so far I am loving every minute of being an affiliate marketer!

Over the past ten months I have received many questions from people interested in this booming industry and what I have learned is that most people do not know where to start. ThrillaMilla.com is my attempt at assisting others in starting their own Affiliate Marketing program.

Here's how I got started....

About eight years ago my Aunt and Uncle invested a small amount of money into a University Computer Science guy's idea. His idea was all about people surfing on the internet and using this thing called a SEARCH Box to find products, services or things they were interested in. This was long before Google even surfaced. He created what was a called a Meta Crawler which combined the search results of twenty different search engines (Hot Bot, Lycos, Dogpile, etc... which may not even exist today) and delivered the most relevant searches back to you. It sounded good but I didn't really see the big picture.

My Uncle would spend our whole conversations talking about clicks, visitis, banner impressions, IP's and a whole bunch of other jargon that just didn't make too much sense to me. It wasn't until Google surfaced and I started GOOGLING that I finally started to understand what my Uncle was talking about.

Now, after 8 years of being in business and generating about eight million dollars in revenue per year, I finally understand why my Uncle was, and is, so excited.

His excitement has somehow rubbed off on me. Affiliate Marketing is the same thing now that Search Engine Marketing was eight years ago. It is in its infancy. Affiliate Marketing is quickly making many people very wealthy and I'm excited about the future!

I often heard people talking about DP and never thought to check it out until a few days ago.
