Already been brought up- its nothing to do with the adnetwork, you can see the #9 site is actually part of the network right now.

Surely this must be some intervention of some sort from Google?

Thats would explain the drop of SEBasics page.

Don't know full story but there are coop members copying his e-bay page even down to the part about his sister. Talk about biting the foot that stomps yourt grapes.

The proudleduck page that SEBasic has on his blog is for a search engine optimization competition. The competition ends on the first of the year I think, and with only a few days to go before the end, he gets nixed. Bad break.

From the sounds of things it looks like it could be over optimization. I wonder if there's a Bad Neighborhood in the co-op somewhere that could also be setting any sort of flag? Hard to say. These are the only two instances I've seen thus far of the sites I somewhat follow thanks to this forum.

We all know what happened to Shawn's page.
the other one is what has been done with it.

No other incidences except a few affiliate and high risk content pages and sites.

    Yep My page dropped.

I think it was my bad really.

I put up a page of lorem ipsum and sdid a search and replace.

I think that was why I saw the drop...

It was pretty stupid really.

I don't think that was necessarily it, SEB

I think it was too many links too quick and a home page not strong enough to support it. Unnatural growth. Filter kicked in !

Oh well, just have to wait until the next one I guess ;)

Right, that's what google does when their filter is set off.
Count your blessings, your home page is still good.

Here is my theory: very few will survive what's about to happen with the seo game, but every member here who pays attention will :)
