    99% of forums on the web do not let users delete their own accounts. I guess that means all forums suck ... oh well.

    ... and if the banned OP knew the first blasted thing about forums, they'd know that generally you don't delete accounts, you ban them. That way you can TRACK if they try to circumvent the ban, and have a complete record of that user's activity. Deleting user accounts on forums is one of the DUMBEST things you can do as an administrator... just like deleting posts is mouth-breathing stupidity. You set up a "evidence locker" category and move offensive posts there where the public can't see them! That way when/if you need it as a reference on just what a total jackass a certain user is, you have access to it.

    I think you should simply move away forget about DP since accounts are not usually deleted, it is that simple.
