    Yes bloomtools you are right,
DP is the most trustworthy forums and discussions point on the web.
People are over here to share knowledge and ideas not for stupid comments.
    Thanks to DP and Moderators
    Regards,
    Chaitanya.

I think a manual signature might be best...since it's in the post

You've obviously never been to SitePoint then. ;)

That will actually get your links removed from the post, along with a possible infraction and/or ban in most places. Digital Point offers signature space for a reason - use it.

It does count as a backlink here, but the benefit of having the link (other than for directing targeted traffic to your site) is next to none. Oh, and your gadget-net.com text in the location field is just that - text. You won't get any benefit from that whatsoever. Put it in your signature as a link if you want to have whatever (minimal) SEO benefit you can get from it. (Not only that, but people tend to ignore the location field anyway, unless they're curious to see where people are at. For example, someone who lives in the next town over from me discovered how close I am geographically to him because I have Aurora, Illinois listed in my location field.)

Smart search engines should not pick up forum links from signatures. It is for traffic only.

Almost all signature links are picked up by SEs especially this forum because this is a popular forum...

Hi Dan, i am not here for getting back links, i am satisfied with the guniene traffic from DP, not more than any thing else.
You won't find ever in my post where i repeated the signature, in a particular thread i am just using my signature,
    Regards,

That's ok, and I definately respect that As for me, the only reason why I'm here is to help people become better at what they do. :)
