Digital Point Signatures

I was wondering. If I purchase a DP Signature from a member who has made thousands of posts to this forum will it actually improve my sites search engine rankings?

Ive noticed that google mostly shows DP signature backlinks that are in the ODP Thread. Does it consider more?

I don't think google crawls signature links or even yahoo for that matter.

 

Search engines do crawl your siggy links but the importance given to the links by the search engines differ depending on the type of forum.

 

I would say you would probably be better off getting links in forums, or even just threads that have the same relevant to the site your adding in your signature.

Signature links in DP usually get a lot of Direct Traffic.

 

It definately help but cant tell that "how much" it helps.
By the way, maybe you shall ask some SEO expert who bought link before

For some reason, I can't get it to only display the links from this site (neither inurl or site is working in this case. Strange.) but the first four hits for me are from here.

 

^^ I said before. Backlinks from signature are not indexed. They have 0 effect on SEO. They are there only for direct traffic.

 

They do get crawled by google and any other search bots, that what they are for!

 

Some peopele are after clicks from their sigs but most people are after link juice.

 

Um we must be seeing two different things than as I'm showing indexed backlinks.

Be happy to provide screencaps if you want. I realize that we all use different datacenters.

 

Is their any rules about selling you sig links? I know it hard to trace but it sounds dodgy to me.

The signatures are indexed by Google. Couple of my sites appear in forums.digitalpoint.com signature in Google.

 

That only happen on nofollow forum. However, DP is dofollow, which helps in SEO

Yea DP Signatures help a lot.. you can try it out make a new site and put the link in sig good chances it will be indexed very fast

 

I believe it helps but not that much...you still need to LE.

 

forum signature will also help boast your ranking, but that not much help, there are many factors in SEO ranking.
