Digital Point Sender Verify Callouts Issue

    Hi,

I attempted to change my email address on here and didn't receive the verification email. I tried multiple times throughout the past week. I have had to revert to my old email address just for this forum. I asked my tech staff with regards to this issue on my server and they said:

"I do not see any mention in the mail logs of , however there are a number of entries for email from to your address. Those emails are getting rejected because blade3.digitalpoint.com is currently resolving to 192.168.1.32 which is an internal IP and thus cannot be reached. We could turn off sender verify callouts, but that would increase the spam received on all accounts on the server by a large amount. If those emails that are showing up in the log are what you should be receiving, the administrators at digitalpoint are using a broken setup. Sender Verify callouts are a very common spam protection and any email sent from is going to be rejected until they either fix their dns or send it from a valid address."

Any ideas? Is this a known issue?

    Thanks.

i had this problem and it turns out that spam-assasin was auto-rejecting the emails, a lot of forum emails tend to end in junk folders automatically so spam assasin was marking them as spam and deleting them.
