Digital Point Search on my site

    Hi all,

Two days ago I had a key search term with a number one spot in goggle with high rankings in MSN and Yahoo (placed 2 or 3 or so).

I updated my site at the weekend and have now lost all rankings in goggle; the phrase that was number one is now 170.

I have a Digital Point search box on my site (for searching my site only), which implements the Goggle API.

As none of the new content can yet be found with my site search, I figure this is because it had not been indexed, but is this conclusive evidence that the ranking change is due to a shake up on Google’s part and not due to me incurring a penalty or filter.

    Any thoughts appreciated

    Regards,
    Simon.
