Hi guys — just wondering if there is any other criteria I must satisfy. I've been a member for three weeks, have greater than 50 posts and am having lots of fun. However, my revenue sharing hasn't kicked in yet. It's been three or four days since I passed the 50-post mark. I added my pub-id and channel to my profile, etc — however, nothing yet. I'm not concerned, just wondering if there is anything else I have to do. Should I contact someone? I'm pretty sure it will work itself out. Anybody have any experience with this or know of anything? Thanks in advance!
Have you added a URL channel to your adsense account to see if you're getting impressions & clicks? What you'll find is that you'll probably hardly make any money off rev share here, only a few cents here & there if lucky
Yes, I set up a URL channel for forums.digitalpoint.com. Its showing no impressions. I know that its likely not to add up to much, but I only average about 0.50/day presently, so every little bit can help. It's not a huge concern, just wanted to make sure I wasn't doing anything wrong.
Ah, I've got it. From the FAQ: I had yet to start a thread. This was my first. Now that it is showing, I am getting impressions. Impressions are given by post as well, but only when someone views it as a post. The key is to make lively threads, rather than posts, as very few people look at posts individually, I guess! Sorry for the trouble. Ironic that I had to make this thread to figure it out, now? Thanks htmlindex for dropping in and trying to help; rep added!
Yup! You get your share only for the threads that you started. So if you don't start new threads, your ads won't show. --Joe
The threads you start in DP, which gets more impressions (popular) will earn good scope of earnings (not a get rich kinda though), I see many who keeps on replying each and every thread to increase their post count
