Digital point needs a makeover!!!

To the powers that be, to say its one of the biggest sites in the world on the subject of marketing/web design etc....

Can we not give it a make over and take it into the 21st centuary, its looking very dull and pea green. I will get my paint brush out and give it a few licks of paint.

Any chance?

I hope admins look at this thread and adds new skin too it , it may be really good i use to change to other skin which is available at DP to feel the difference

 

If you don't like the green colour, you can switch to blue by selecting from the drop down (found towards the bottom left corner of the forum.

I know the information is the best part about it and the reason I come, but a nice up to date look would not go a miss.

Suggestions.

Three seperate colours to enhance the look.

A new logo, maybe a banner even.

Some text under the logo...

Something, anything please........

 

Why to change something such great / simple and nice ....

 

i think that DP should use another Vb theme,something more web 2.0 and modern..anyway, i still like the green skin

You should definitely pay for a good custom skin. This one is basically the default skin.

 

I've only been a member a short time and it looks fine to me.

 

It looks fine but it doesn't have the feel of a 'super-forum' like webhostingtalk.com or battleforums.com.

Current theme is simple and does the job as expected

 

I like this theme.It is plain and simple.If it were more ugly to look at then no problem because the content would be still the same.So outlook doesn't matter.
Another thing-Green is good for eyes

 

Looks alright to me. I've seen worse where it's all neon red. Talk about an eye sore.

I think they should add a new skin, something different than just changing the colour

theres the option at the bottom to change the skin to blue

theres alot nicer VB skins
