Digital Point is now nofollow!

-its ok I think. MOst of us are here for knowledge and get to know the opinion of others right? It only a bonus that this forum is a dofollow(before).

 

I'm mainly here because of the info, more than 3 years here on the forum and I haven't posted my site's link anywhere. 

 

Why I am unable to see my signature after 40 posts?

 

My personal feeling is that you contribute your knowledge to a forum and make it valuable. In return, the forum lets you post links in signature helping your site fare a little bit better. It should be a mutually beneficial association and not just one way. Experts don't learn much from any forum, on the contrary they contribute and make a forum valuable. And no expert has time to waste writing in forums if they don't get anything out of it. And more over its the same questions being asked over and over again anyway. If I am absolutely certain that this forum is no follow I would not bother visiting it again. 

 

Their is not a big difference now between nofollow and dofollow according to my knowledge and how the trends are changing of SEO. This act of digital point forum can go in the favor for the users as this may cause less spam and will introduce more quality in the forums and even a nofollow link from a quality website can benefit you a lot

 

I'm glad to hear about this change. This is a great forum, but it sometimes takes a long time to wade through all the "postcount ++" type posts. Hopefully that will change now that there's less incentive to get your signature appearing all over the place.
