Digital Point Dollars?

I know some forums have like a money system, like namepro's has namebucks or something like that.

With a certain amount you can buy stuff like a custom usertitle and other privileges, or you can trade them to other members for stuff. I believe you get them from posting.

I was wondering if anyone is interested in having that here and if so would Shawn be willing to do it?

While I love the *real* dollars Shawn.. lol, I also like the idea of being able to change my usertitle and maybe bribing other member's with DP Dollars!

Some forums allow usertitle changes after a certain amount of posts and some use the money system.

 

good point ... i don't care much for fake/virtual money.

changing your user title will only confuse others.
i like it when people are always the same name/avatar. helps me recognize them.

 

I think kalina is offended that she (?) is a tauren or something that kinda looks like a moose.

It would not be a big deal as far as I'm concerned. The keyword tracker and the coop and the other tools are my "DP dollars"

I'd say no dollars, even though i voted for 'i don't care'. I guess i'd be worried about people posting to get their dollars or points or whatever and not for real reasons. It could get out of hand like over at GaiaOnline. OMG

I have already asked Shawn a thousand times to send money my way, I am still waiting for the bottle to float down my stream.

I must have picked up a thousand bottles out of the Gulf of Mexico thinking that my Digital Point dollars were inside, but I can tell you that the only thing inside were a few sand crabs.

Don't waste time waiting and hoping on DP $ folks

Is this not the suggestions and feedback forum?

I make a suggestion, all in good fun by the way and someone gives me a "disapprove" rating? If anything it should have been an "I approve" rating considering I was thinking in terms of what's good for the forum.

I've seen it other places and people like it. I really don't care if it's done here or not, it's just an idea.

I guess people should be afraid to make suggestions around here, I won't do it again.
