Good point. But, he'll clean up in most of the other categories he's nominated in. It's only fair to leave something for the rest of us. This is a tough one to vote on, though. The sign of a good programmer is when you don't notice what they've done: it's only when there are bugs, or the website gets hacked, that the way it's coded becomes an issue.
Because, he is the 'King of Digital Point', and apart from that any other award he wants, its 'Life Time Achivement Award'. (He is just not a programer of the year... he is programer of the life...)
John is correct, as much as you like to butter up why he's not in it, etc, he should have been, there's no rules as to who could be in it, as long as they are a DP member, I would have voted for him no questions asked.
I usually do programming for myself, but when too much projects come in, I pass on some projects. So this post is a good one. Lets me get a good idea on who should I pass projects to.
