Start with your business plan Know your target customer really, really well Identify the actions your competitors are taking Identify the actions they aren't taking but which will work with your target customer Work out how you will match or beat their marketing efforts Create a detailed plan of what you will do and when and how much you will spend (in time and money)
Make a detailed marketing plan You have to have very good content, include images and text, maybe video! Decide where and how you want to advertise! (My Recommendations to google ads and facebook) Make a Website for Your Product or Service! Investigate the market and look at competitors what is good and what is not. Perfect what is good!
Choose your niche build the best content posible and try to help people then build an email list and help your audience in email list and subtle make some promotion
I would look and see what others in your industry are doing to promote themselves digitally and then I would mirror their behavior while also looking for a way to set myself apart. However, I would also assess whether the competitors are successful at doing a certain thing or if they are wasting their time. You don't want to replicate things that aren't actually working! Also, I would create a schedule and stick with it, and automate whatever I can.
There are six steps 1. understand your brand Who are you, which group of people are most likely to buy from you, What problems do you solve. 2. Define your objectives What are your goals, what are you trying to achieve? 3. Set tactics which are best for meeting those goals. Tactic is not a strategy ,its a specific tool you use towards reaching that goal -ask yourself this question on what platforms/places my target is at? is it? -twitter -Facebook -email -should I use google ad-words 4. Select tactics which are best for reaching your goal. example: Search engine may be great for acquiring new customers. while email marketing is best for people who are already your customers. all of these will be based on your objectives 5. How will you know you are meeting your objectives measure (KPIs) (what will be your 'Key performance Indicators') eg. If your objective was brand awareness and using Facebook as your tactic, your KPI will most likely be checking how many people commented on your posts, how many times was it shared and how many people engaged with the post. 6. Check your targets Now you have to set a number that you think your KPIs should reach towards your objective, they must be under a certain time frame, and must match your resources(Usually money and man power) *Word of caution be realistic in your objectives, and the time frame you set* I know I have used a lot of jargon, I've tried to rinse it down as much as I can, hopefully you understand and benefit.
