Digital Marketing help

    Hello guys, been browsing your great forums but am looking for a bit more information for a university assignment regarding ditial marketing.

    I have to design a (digital) market-research programme and disscuss appropriate methods of market research for a fictional company who is a pure internet based business offering films, tv clips comededy clips etc.... for download



    any help would be much appreciated

    They'll use Search Engine Optimization to get 90% of their traffic.

    If they're selling any of these dvds or cds, then they will use Cost-Per-Click advertising (as only people with a solid product should do this otherwise its a waste of money.)

    Some sites success are by word of mouth, less likely however. all of this would be talked about on forums & msn, so its still digital.

    They'll trade links with similar site owners, to increase their ranking on search engines, as well as get some traffic going.

    find a small amount of competivie sites

    Usually what works best is if it interests you, it probably interests someone else. It's a lot easier to enjoy your work and do a good job at it if it's something you are passionate about.
