I was just checking on one of my books that I have put on Amazon Kindle. Lo and behold, not only was my book there, but it was also there under a different title with someone by the name of S. Mills listed as the editor. When I did a search for, S. Mills, it became clear that this person is purchasing download books, renaming them, and putting them up on Kindle. There are more than 600 results for that name. Although, all of them aren't this person, way too many are, which suggests that he/she is posting quite a bit of illegal content. Unlike other places on the net where we just have to put up with plagiarism, we don't have to do it on Amazon. It's strictly against their terms of service. I've written a letter of complaint to Amazon for this issue. If you have an ebook for sale, I suggest you see if you can find it plagiarized there. Just so you know: my book called "Simple Credit Repair," which is listed in Kindle, is sold via one of my sites SecretsOfTheCreditIndustry.com. S. Mills named the book "Secrets Of The Credit Industry," and left everything else virtually the same.
This is very interesting, and obviously troubling for all the authors out there. I am doing a little research into it myself just out of curiosity. If you are interested in possibly having an attorney look at this please feel free to PM me. browntwn
