Well it means that digg will most probably find out what the new site is as a lot of people have probably ignored that and went on and posted in forums etc, which is bad as all this will happen again.
they had to shut down because of the domain, note to everyone don't use Digg in your domain name. Don't use dugg either - although duggmirror seems to be ok for some reason? You can do something like DwiggBoss or D1ggBoss and that would be fine.
