Actually some people do that too ;)

Well I think it's not just the domain.. although one domain itself is enough for a case here.

    Good for them.
Some stories didnt deserve even 1 vote. And talk about 20-30 diggs.
    Byye Diggboss..

They can't stop someone offering that kind of services but have digg in their domain is asking for it ;) They should just buy another domain and start all over again!

Perhaps they will stay alive and become a Stumble Exchange... it's a shame to see this go... I feel like this week might see a crazy amount of activity over there!

Yes It is really sad to see them go, But I really had a lots of Digg's from there on my story, just 2 days back. I wished they can fight in some way with digg, well that is one idea that I got !

Diggboss had some good times, I guess it's time to go.. Personally I would have waited until receiving further emails that started getting angrier to act.

It's stupid. Digg does not stand above the law. They can't order somebody not to do a vote. If diggboss stops selling diggs, then digg can't do them anything, except for the name, which they should change.

For the launch of diggboss clones left and right...
right now Digg mainly had diggboss to worry about next its the attack of the clones!
It happened with Napster and mp3s now its going to happen with DIGG!

The domain should have been something more obtuse or even shiftier.

It was bound to happen. Their service degrades the value of Digg, so why wouldn't Digg go after them? Diggboss probably would have been in the clear if they had just chose a domain that didn't use the Digg trademark.

got an email about this today. It's quite sad but i'm sure there will be more sites like this that launch as the competition has died.

    Hehe,

Why on eartht would i pay attention to that? What stupid idea is that? To only tell their current users that they are getting a new website and not the whole world?
