exactly.. the guys in my office tried tons and got their accounts banned.. and digg people identified account names from our IP address and banned all.. Sadly my account was also there
No, it is not against the rules of Digg to digg your own blog posts - practically this is a very working way to get some back links and increase the popularity of your blog. However, I am not talking about the so common abuses in Digg with proxy digging and stuff - it is very understandable why this is not a correct step to take in Digg or any other social network.
Just digg unique quality stuff that others might be interested in reading. I digg maybe one out of five or six articles I post on my blog.
