"If I was Google, this is something that would scare the crap out of me: Digg users don't click ads.

The first graph below shows the page views by day of a site I track which received two trips to the front page of Digg.com. It's pretty easy to tell..."

absolutely useless traffic for adsense..however it will give you a few backlinks and prolly some more feed subscriptions..

so it does convert in some way...

I don't aim for digg.com for the traffic at first. It is all about the link juice you receive.

Of course web savvy users don't click ads. We rely on the average internet user to click them!

Well, if you get thousands of diggs you could still end up with some revenue.

While this doesn't apply to Adsense, Chitika did an analysis of CTR between Google Traffic (98% organic) and Digg.com traffic. The Digg's produced about 1/3 of the clicks that Google traffic generated... I would have thought it would be much lower than that.

Yep, because they know the difference between content and ads ;)
When a viewer explicitly knows its an 'ad' then he thinks twice before clicking.

Same is the case with stumble upon traffic.
