Right now the freebie forum is where all the social bookmark trading is happening

Well, I would have to agree that I think all the stumbling and digging is getting out of control in the freebies forum. I don't know if we should weed and thin it out, or give it a section of its own. I will have to admit, it's passed through my mind many times that the freebies section is so annoying to go to because of all the digging and stumbling threads....

I agree they are even oozing in to link exchange and others. I wish i could add the words Digg, Stumble and Proxy to my "Dont show threads" filter.

I suggest a new category called Social Bookmark

There's more to be discussed other than exchanging digg/stumble but exchange thingies can go there also.

Well this is good idea because Freebie forum has most of these type of offers. Sometimes we miss some good Free offer.

Social Bookmark Section is a good idea, but wouldnt it just be a massive collection of threads, all of which are doing the exact same thing.. like even with link sales and templates, they all unique sales and threads,

Yes, would be good with a defferent section. There are way too many exchange threads that push all other threads down.

At least the freebies forum won't be littered with exchanges thingy :).
And that section won't be filled with exchange thread solely, there will be "how to get noticed in digg", "how to make it in front pages of digg", "good soc bookmarks tool" , "I want to promote my new soc bookmark site" , etc kind of threads too

Yes i have noticed that lately all the posts are like exchanging stumbles exchanging diggs and its getting annoying. Like 70% of the posts in the freebie forum are like that.
