well i believe its nothing more than rumour, i had seen in one of the news website, where they were talking about the deals regards only placing the ads, there wasn't mentioned about the digg getting sold.

i'm suprised YPN didn't make a larger attempt to try and get digg to switch over, with all the problems Yahoo is having now with the their stock price so low and them loosing value every quarter you would think this would of been the type of deal they would of really went after, if not just to get the business but to get the publicity of it also and other deals that may follow..

With google, we get banned very easily. Thus, maybe, they have opted for microsoft. And to increase popularity, microsoft is co-operating together,

The diggers would hate that. They're a pretty anti-MS crowd if you ask me.

You can use other advertisers network with adsense ONLY in rotating base, like you can't use both on the same page at single time.

also from what i've read that they had a contract/deal setup with Google that most likely ran through the end of the month - therefore they could not jsut pull their ads until their deal/contract was up...

That is also my understanding. Additionally, MS offered it's resources, (high speed servers), probably some of it's knowledgebase, etc etc.

There's a good write up here:
